Cardano Needs Its Own “Cardano Mentioned”

It all started with one post. @MicheleHarmonic, the guy who codes half of Cardano’s Typescript stack and still finds time to shitpost, wrote:

“We need a ‘Cardano mentioned’ meme like the Brazil one…Doesn’t matter if good or bad.Memes are the best marketing.”

Below it was the legendary “BRAZIL MENTIONED” meme: anime character in a Brazil jersey, beer in hand, giant text across the bottom. For years people have been dropping it under every Brazil reference, no matter the context.

That’s the whole point, one template, a million uses. Cardano needs the same thing.

Why “mentioned” formats slap

“Brazil Mentioned” works because it’s:

  • simple

  • instantly recognizable

  • zero explanation required

No debate, no essays. Someone mentions Brazil → you drop the meme → everyone gets the joke.

That’s permissionless marketing: the algorithm loves repetition, and the name (country or chain) keeps bouncing around the feed for free.

Cardano is still behind here. We have:

  • serious tech

  • serious builders

  • serious discussions

But when it comes to memes, we’re often a bit too serious for our own good. While other chains reply with a single recognizable meme or gif, we roll in with a thread about eUTxO.

Brazil Mentioned... Cardano Mentioned

Michele’s post was basically an open call for the first “Cardano Mentioned” template.Within the replies, people immediately started spitting out edits: Cardano versions of the meme, glowing eyes, blockchain jargon on a whiteboard… all cooked up in a few hours, completely organic.

That’s the magic:meme standards aren’t born in PowerPoint decks, they’re born in the replies.

Someone throws out an idea.Someone else twists it.A third person makes the version everyone starts using.Suddenly the whole ecosystem has a reaction image everybody understands.

Your move

If we want our own “Brazil Mentioned moment,” we need:

  • 1–2 recognizable “Cardano Mentioned” templates

  • a community willing to drop them every single time ADA or a Cardano project gets mentioned — good, bad, or pure chaos

If you’ve got even a tiny bit of degen meme energy in you:

🎨 make your version of a “Cardano Mentioned” meme🔁 post it on X and tag @adamemescom

🧪 let the internet decide which template survives

Cardano already has the tech. Now we need the meme reflex to match it.

Let’s build the meme future together one cursed image at a time.
